Family Times

Easter Sunday was a huge success - thank you to everyone for coming and bringing food! I just want to share a memorable moment. Tanner came barreling out the door yelling at his parents when all of a sudden Anisa is like, "Tanner, that is not how you speak to your parents!" "Show some respect". Not exact words, but close enough - you get the jist. So I, Libby, turn to Anisa and say, "Hey, Tanner is a third time honor roll holder". Then Anisa say's back to me, "So, he still shouldn't talk to his parents like that." It made for a good laugh because, sorry Anisa, but that's the pot calling the kettle black. You were a good sport about it, you know if it were me I probably would have gotten all upset, etc. etc. etc.

Just so everyone knows you can go to my blog and look at pictures from the Easter Sunday BBQ. Enjoy! Thanks again everyone!

Rags to Riches

Can you believe this? I posted this by myself (alone) at my house!!!
I put the pictures on my computer by myself, too!!!
Isn't it beautiful? It was my old front door and I designed it and Lucas built it and then I painted it. So now I was some ideas on how to decorate the wall. The main colors are dark brown, white, and jade!!

Uncle Heff's surgery!

Just wanted to let everyone know that Dad (Uncle Heff) is going to be getting hip surgery on April 25th. He's a bit nervous so everyone pray for him.

Family, a blessing!!

I was at Presidency Meeting today and we were discussing our children and their marriages. Since I am the oldest and have married children, I was asked how I got along with my children's spouses and what to do if there are problems. I was very pleased to tell them that I have been very lucky that I love the spouses of my children and they all treat me really nice. So to Melanie, Ryan, Shellie and Sydney, thanks for being you!!

I also want to tell my nieces and nephews and their spouses, that I love them and are proud of them as well.

P.S. I found this quote on a calender and want to share it with you.
